Five signs your car is begging for a wheel alignment

Uneven tire wear, a steering wheel that sits crooked, a pull to one side — your car tells you long before your tires give out.

Wheel alignment is the mechanical adjustment of your vehicle's suspension so the tires meet the road at exactly the right angle. When those angles drift — and they always do, one pothole at a time — your tires wear unevenly, your fuel economy drops and your steering stops feeling honest.

The five signs

Your steering wheel sits off-centre while you are driving straight. The car pulls gently to one side when you relax your grip. The tread on one edge of a tire is visibly more worn than the other. You hear the tires squealing on ordinary corners. Or the steering wheel vibrates at highway speed.

Why laser alignment matters

We perform alignment with touch-less laser technology, which means nothing is clamped onto your wheels and nothing gets bent in the process. The readings are measured to a fraction of a degree, then adjusted back to the manufacturer's specification.

If two or more of those signs sound familiar, book an alignment before you buy new tires — otherwise the new set will wear out the same way the old one did.
